Nokia X - Porting Bus

11 cities, 4 weeks, one mission: To get developers across Europe porting their apps to Nokia X. We renovated a London Routemaster bus complete with upper deck porting room and lower deck Xbox hang out zone and dispatched 'the beast' on a five week tour of Europe.

All through March, our Porting Bus will be rolling across Europe to introduce developers to Nokia X software platform.  We pimped one 1960's London Double Decker Bus to a level Tim Westwood himself would be proud of. We've got not just one x-box but two, and 3 HD screens. Upstairs we've added a porting-zone for developers to get their code on complete with charging stations and bonded 4g wifi available on the road.

This beast of a machine was travelling through the Alps at a top speed of 35mph on snow tyres with one mission - the unite Europe's developers and give them the space to port their apps with x-pert guidance to Nokia X.

Additional Notes

We choreographed a full European tour arranging locations, crew and all logistics including international SIM cards for bonded 4g wifi on the road. The bus was painted, branded and wrapped in the brand new Nokia X livery and unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2014.

Developers were invited aboard at 11 cities across Europe and given X-pert help and guidance to get their apps onto the X platform.
