The YouTube Symphony Orchestra is the world's first ever online collaborative orchestra, with musicians from all over the globe all taking part. Back in 2009 we were asked to create some similarly engaging films for them and we happily jumped on board again two years later in 2011.
In our 2011 collection of films we travel to Bresca, Kissingen and Paris to meet the talented folk who made it into the unique musical endeavour. In France we catch up with Tristan Chenevez, an amazing violinist as we chat about the difference between playing solo compared to a full orchestra and how he hopes to make friends from all over the world. On our trip to Germany, trombonist Roman Riedel tells us all about his love for music and how he managed to overcome the obstacle of having slightly-too-short arms. Maria Chiossioru harp playing friend in Italy, invites us into her home to explain how she came to picking the harp as her instrument.
