Samsung #Be Creative


Back in 2012 Gramafilm teamed up with Jam, who as part of the Engine Group, were tasked with developing a series of films for Samsung introducing people to the idea of using their mobile devices to
express creativity in all forms.


Gramafilm produced a series of four short films that were shot on locations across the UK featuring four highly innovative individuals taking their unique ideas to the next level. Fusing the high gloss of advertising with the immediacy and spontaneity of documentary storytelling, the team successfully captured the creative potential of both the Samsung Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note 2.

Additional Notes

The films were embedded into a customized brand page on YouTube and were also picked up and profiled across a range of creative technology blogs including Computer Arts Magazine, Campaign Magazine, Flux, Crenk, Blending the Mix and the Mail on Sunday resulting in
more than 1.5 million views.


In the final film of the series Daniel Kupfner turned a large tank of water into an interactive blank canvass allowing users to write on the surface of the water using the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and 400 fish tank pumps.
