2023, the year of the Android Developer.

With the launch of both Android 14 and Jetpack Compose, the latest coding toolkit, 2023 was a certainly a big year for the Android Developer Community.

As trusted Android partners we helped celebrate it in style, launching new merch & a wrap-up video.

Android 2023 Wrap Up

Working alongside some skilled animators, we created wrap-up video highlighting all the amazing things the Android Developer community got up to in 2023. The video kicked off of a Best of 2023 Playlist, a series of Top Ten moments from the Android Developer YouTube Channel. Four of which, Gramafilm shot and produced. Good Skills.

Bring back the bots!

Working with Android's latest branding, we welcomed back Android Bots in all their glory. Alongside a new logo, colour palette, and typography, the freshly rebranded Android Bots ("BugDroid") have more character & dynamism than ever before. Taking a starring role in our 2023 wrap-up.

Referencing the popular Android Developer Stories, where brands discuss the benefits of developing apps on the Android system, we designed Android Bots inspired by featured brands like Snapchat, Reddit, Peloton, Spotify, and Zoom.

We knew just where to start, having shot and produced most of these developer stories ourselves.

Who doesn't like an end of year goodie bag? Android asked us to create some Merch ready to send to some select developers who helped them on their 2023 journey.
